Join Chef Elias and Sonoma Family Meal culinary job training alumni for a festive Mexican-themed Holiday cooking class that will not only teach you new culinary skills, but also provide a deeper connection to Mexican culture. Whether you’re a seasoned cook or just starting out, this class offers a fun and festive way to bring the warmth and flavors of Mexico to your home celebrations.
In this hands-on 2.5 hour class, you will learn the breakdown of how to make several beloved traditional Mexican dishes, including step-by-step guidance to master the art of tamale-making. You will work in teams to prepare all the food under the Chef's guidance, and then enjoy the meal together family style! We provide the recipes to take home.
If you haven’t been to the SFM Kitchen yet, this class is also the perfect chance to visit and experience where the magic takes place and how SFM work gets done.
