Jordanian Cooking Class - Friday, April 4

Jordanian Cooking Class - Friday, April 4
Join our very own Chef Instructor, Chef Elias, and one of our culinary training alumni, Fatima for a unique cooking class learning how to make Jordanian cuisine at the Sonoma Family Meal Kitchen! The hands-on, collaborative class will last two hours, and you’ll get to enjoy your meal together at the end.
Originally from Jordan, Fatima came to the USA seeking a better life for herself and her children. She was referred to Sonoma Family Meal’s culinary job training program by the Petaluma Adult School after she expressed her love of cooking. During her time with us, we had the opportunity to explore the rich flavors of Jordanian cuisine and Fatima is now working in the kitchen at Petaluma High School!
Whether you’re a seasoned cook or just starting out, this class will offer a fun collaborative learning environment, while also supporting Sonoma Family Meal.
If you haven’t been to the SFM Kitchen yet, this class is also the perfect chance to visit and experience where the magic takes place and how SFM work gets done.
